HyPerspectives, Inc. of Bozeman, Montana, was founded in 2001.  As a Natural Resources Technology Consulting Company, we specialize in the use of cutting-edge sensor technologies for natural resource applications and national security issues.  We develop customized analysis techniques for data collected at a variety of scales, from nano-sensors to satellites, providing innovative solutions based on client needs. 

HyPerspectives’ current projects employ data from multiple passive and active sensors. Those sensors include interferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR), polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (POLSAR), light detection and ranging (LiDAR), hyperspectral, multispectral, thermal infrared, panchromatic, and aerial photography. 

Project sponsors have included the National Science Foundation, NASA, National Interagency Fire Center, USDA, Naval Research Laboratory, Naval Air Warfare Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory.  Through these projects, HyPerspectives has developed expertise pertinent to the collection, manipulation, management, sharing, and display of large geospatial datasets (including maintaining security for ITAR rated data) through numerous projects.
